yesterday!

i will try to describe the whole thing chronologically.

7ish: woke up. watched TV, ate summat, waited for paula.
12: paula picked me up (she was supposed to at like 11-11:30, but her friend, megan was trying to put together TIVO thingy)
12:30ish: got to mitsuwa! yay! megan and paula ate ramen, i had green tea. the ramen WAS BIG. and it was hot, so paula felt really weird for the rest of the day. but we went to the bookstore, and i got two books: the unfettered mind, and botchan. i'm reading botchan now. it's interesting. i was gonna get an actual japanese book, but i decided not to, cuz i didn't know what book would be good and there were no harry potter books. there were lotr books, tho, i like nine volumes. some of the magazines were really cool - good looking food. they're so much different from american magazines, too, cuz the covers aren't like dark, and there's a bunch of light on whatever your looking at...most of the magazines were like that. after the book store we went to that little place that sells china and stuff, and i got my gramma in california some incense (she likes that stuff; it smelled funny cuz it was "rose" and packaged among other incenses) and i got her this little tiny tea cup that was REALLY cute for only two dollars, and then a tiny little plate with a cat on it- was REALLY REALLY cute. and we wandered around the little tupperware/cheap store stuff, it was CRAMMED full of STUFF, and i found little girl underwear in like four colors, and there was all kinds of things but it was SO cramped i couldn't get a good look at everything. plus the lighting was bad. after that we went to the market itself, and i got those koala march thingies (chocolate) and megan got three creampuffs in the bakery (that seriously smelled so good you could just sit there and sniff and you'd get full - ) and all the stuff looked SO good we didn't buy it cuz we were afraid we weren't gonna eat it. but megan got us creampuffs and we sat in paula's car eating them when we were done there.
2ish: went to woodfield mall! first thing we did was go to the bathroom. then we went to hot topic! i got a green day shirt for the concert, and then i got this other shirt that says "i'd like to help you out, which way did you come in?" which i'm wearing now. but there was nothing really of any value for zim stuff; there was a gir backpack but that was about it...some plastic zim, gir, dib and miss bitter's toys, and i did get a coupla postcards of zim and lenore...so then we got out of there cuz it was crowded, and then we went to the bathroom again, and we went to spencer's to find a "vote pedro" shirt for my uncle (we looked for one in hot topic but there was none i guess) and i found A TON of roman dirge magnets. some were really funny. oh, and the lenore postcard i got has her saying "the fishies go pook pook pook" which i just thought was adorable. and then we went to H&M and i got four AWESOMELY COOL shirts, one of which i plan on wearing the first day of skool, and the orange one that i wore at the glenfest. anywho, then we wandered a little, and we decided to go looking for a pink longsleeved dress (for the anime con) which we didn't find, but it was okay, cuz we walked around and seriously got some crazy excercise. but there was this HUGE thing going on there with like the cast of some stupid show and some girls who couldn't play the guitar and couldn't sing, and there was SO MUCH SCREAMING! GAH! so then we went to this luggage shop and my aunt bought me (she bought me most of this stuff; i got the tea cup, the plate and the incense) this KICK ASS bag, that i need to throw all my school stuff in - no more stupid icky backpack for me! w00t! so then megan saw this CRAZY WEIRD purse that had all these weird buttons on it, and my aunt totally flipped out, so the ppl at the store were like, "hey, you buy this, we'll knock another ten dollars of the price." apparently the purse had been there FOREVER and the woman at the counter was like, "if you hadn't of bought this, i would've had to," and we laughed. so then we pretty much left. and that was about the extent of the shopping day - oh, and the main reason we were in the luggage store was b/c paula and megan were looking for bags to hold their archery stuffs, and to go to new york in or something. they looked but didn't find much. but i did get that bag! $35 dollars - although i think it was on sale. we found so much cool stuff in that store.
4:45ish: drove megan home. we were dead tired and we almost didn't want to go to the glenfest.
5ish: get to my house, hang out, wait for steve to show up with some friends.
6:15: leave house, go to glenfest.
6:45: get REALLY foncused and get annoyed by my horrible directions and zach wasn't really helping - crap! must return that parking thing to him! CRAPCRAPCRAP! it's still in my bag...gar. oh well. anywho, we got to glenfest and we parked and wandered, found very little to do - i found some pooches, and for SURE i'm getting an australian something! this woman had this VERY pretty dog, that i started to pet, and it was SO CUTE! it's eyes were like two colors each, one blue and brown, the other brown and blue, and the coat on that thing was AMAZING. VERY cool dog. but b4 that i found this REALLY ugly boston terrier - those dogs are so ugly they're cute. so this dog was. but anyways, i called zach up b4 the concert and we talked a little about this thing, and i waved to him cuz he was on like his friend's balcony or something and we talked like that, and i did the gir thumbs-up thing. which is really cute. and then the concert started. it was cool. violent femmes are awesome, except for the bass line - it's pretty much the same for all the songs. so we stood around for about an hour when they started, paula and steve drank, they're friends, allison and mike (married) wandered off (i think i went to the second kill hannah concert with allison, too) and allison came back with cheese fries! so the three of us pigged out (steve just stood there and watched) and mike was no where to be seen. but whatever, we wandered around, and just hung out. and danced. and watched as everyone else got drunk. oh, and i had three chiken kabobs from that "flight" place, and they were DIVINE. they were SO good. three bucks for three, so why not? so i pigged a little. too much. anywho.
10: got back to my house, mike and allison went home (we went in their car, and paula's jeep was still in the driveway of our house) and then we went in and talked to my mom a little, paula and steve left and i went to bed.

that's about it. took me pretty much half an hour to write it (with bathroom breaks) and now i must get something to drink, cuz i am thirsty. jaa!
